00605: Construction Engineer (Camden County, NJ)
Office Location:PA - Philadelphia

The Construction Engineer (Camden County, NJ) will be part of our CE&M team and work on  multiple construction contracts throughout the Greater Philadelphia area.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering services during construction.  


  • Oversee engineering services for various construction phase services for clients that maybe performed in a field office, at a client's facility, or in our Philadelphia office during construction
  • Monitoring of construction contractor progress, use of materials, installation of approved equipment and piping and schedule materials testing
  • Respond to contractor’s requests for interpretations as well as evaluate contractor’s suggestions for minor changes to contract requirements; review contractor’s progress schedules, certificates and operations and maintenance manuals
  • Document construction progress through reports; conduct monthly progress meeting and prepare meeting summaries; maintain project files and prepare and process change orders
  • Leads meetings and resolves conflict


Education: minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 
Experience: 5-10 years construction experience
involving similar projects such as water mains, sanitary/storm sewers, pump stations, and treatment plants
Certification: PE required

A desire to manage and mentor staff and ability to engage clients in a forward facing business development role.
