The successful Project Manager/Design Lead will support project teams and the firm’s key regional clients in the design and planning of complex and innovative combined sewer, wastewater conveyance, and wastewater treatment projects. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing preparation of design and construction documents for selected sites as part of a large combined sewer overflow mitigation project. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Program Manager as part of the Greeley and Hansen team located in the DC Clean Rivers Project field office at DC Water (Blue Plains).

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: B.S. degree in Civil Engineering is required. MS. Degree preferred.
Experience: 12+ years of experience in managing water and wastewater engineering design projects and team. Demonstrated experience overseeing development and implementation of design and construction contract documents for complex infrastructure projects. Program management experience must include CIP planning, budgeting, and scheduling; overseeing project delivery by managing multiple consultants and contractors to execute the work; providing technical advisory services and staff augmentation for large water and wastewater programs.
Certifications, Licenses: PE license is required. Must reciprocate license in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Experience in managing sewer design projects and teams including the study and design of gravity sewers, pressure sewers and force mains.
Experience overseeing and coordinating interdisciplinary teams of engineers, including structural, geotechnical, electrical, mechanical, architecture, etc.
