01031: Civil Engineer

We seek an Entry Level Civil Engineer that is motivated and entrepreneurial in learning and supporting a variety of clients and services throughout the Chicago and Illinois markets, from Greeley and Hansen’s Chicago based global headquarters.  Assignments could include: water, wastewater, stormwater and solid waste design; startup and oversight of innovative and emerging treatment technologies; water resource planning and design; hydraulic modeling; GIS mapping; green infrastructure planning and design; stormwater design and maintenance; field investigations; preparation of engineering reports; development of cost estimates; construction management and support; and a variety of other related engineering assignments. The successful candidate for this position will work in a team environment developing client solution to improve our communities through engineering studies, conceptual designs, construction plans and specifications, as well as proving support during construction and other field assignments.  

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
Experience: The qualified candidate will have 0-5 years’ experience in civil/sanitary design and studies.  
An EIT designation is preferred, but not required. Willingness to prepare and earn an EIT and PE is expected.  Experience in GIS, 3D Modeling using Autodesk products and Revit is preferred but not required.
